Day Rides

The mountain valleys of North East Victoria abound with colourful bird life, majestic views, lush pastures and a delightful climate. Bogong Horseback Adventures offer day rides in the heart of the High Country. Experience riding the beautiful tracks of the Alpine National Park through tall mountain forests, fern gullies and river crossings. Experienced guides with horses to suit all riders. All rides include tuition, Hard hats and oilskin coats if required. Available all year by appointment

Bookings

We do not take bookings for our daily trail rides via email or online booking form.

All rides made by appointment, contact our office on (03) 5754 4849. We generally need about 24 hours notice, longer for holiday weekends etc. It is best to make a booking over the phone so we can have a conversation about your needs and settle on a time and date. When booking on behalf of a group we need details for each rider, First Name, Age if not adult, riding experience, approx height and weight, and a contact phone number for the day of the ride.

Lunch

Half day ride with lunch available all year round, warmer months often alfresco dinning by the wood fired pizza oven or a cooler time of year you can expect delicious hearty homestead meals by the fire. Call us to discuss what is on offer from the homestead kitchen, if you have any dietary requirement, we specialise in vegetarian options whatever you're offered, and whatever you choose, you can be sure it will be yummy, wholesome and warming!
