中国国务院总理温家宝陪同德国总理默克尔到访广州，并联合会见中德企业家，温家宝在接受本台独家专访时强调，中国支援欧洲应对欧债，并没有将承认中国完全市场经济地位和解除军售禁令联系在一起，完全处于战略和长远考虑。

温家宝：“我表态十分准确，就是中国可以考虑通过欧洲现有的机制来支持，和通过合作缓解欧债的困难，但是同时我强调关键和基础还是欧洲国家自己的努力。

我没有把对欧洲的支持和帮助与我们的一贯坚持的立场结合起来，比如市场经济地位以及解除军售禁令，但是我提到要改善投资环境，因此，默克尔十分敏感，她就提到她将积极努力来促进这件事情。

我之所以这样讲，是表现出中国政府和人民对欧洲的支持和帮助是完全出于从战略和长远考虑的，因为欧洲是中国最大的外贸市场，也是中国最大的投资来源和技术转发来源，我们不希望欧洲市场出现大的问题，从这个意义上讲，帮助欧洲也就是帮助我们自己。”
