Jon Schmidt是一位具有古典风格的新世纪音乐作曲家和钢琴家。生于美国犹他州盐湖城一个杰出的音乐家庭。早年曾跟姐姐——一位古典钢琴家学习钢琴。父母均是来自德国的移民，钟爱古典音乐。早在8岁时就举办了自己的个人钢琴独奏会，同时还能自己作曲并轻松地弹奏莫扎特的奏鸣曲，经常和父亲——一位著名的音乐家同台演出。
Jon Schmidt 花了10余年的时间学习古典音乐。16岁时他成了一位钢琴教师。当他决定将自己的职业生涯完全转到音乐时，才20岁出头。1991年 Jon Schmidt 独立出版了自己的首张个人专辑《August End》。1993年在和唱片公司Aubergine签约后，他录制了自己的第二章专辑《Walk in the Woods》。紧接着1年后又出版了专辑《A Day in the Sunset》。后来又陆续推出了《Jon Schmidt Christmas》（1997年）、《To the Summit》（2000年）等专辑。

Steven sharp nelson（生于1977年）是一名大提琴演奏家，他融合古典与现代乐器手法，在传统演奏方式的基础上，以标新立异的拨弦和撞击著称，也是这一大提琴技术的先驱。他出生于美国犹他州盐湖城。在8岁时接触打击乐器，12岁开始学习大提琴，17岁又学习了吉他。
在犹他州立大学音乐学院获得音乐学位并于2002年毕业，曾师从瑞安塞尔伯格，史蒂芬艾默生，以及约翰埃克斯坦学习大提琴（大提琴仍旧是他主要的演奏乐器）。
Nelson真正意义上的大提琴生涯开始于15岁。 他进入了Peter Breinholt的乐队，并由Breinholt作曲发行专辑。从那时起，他已录得超过100首不同的风格的单曲。作为一位独奏艺术家，他的第一张专辑《Sacred Cello》（2006年）就荣登Billboard排行榜。此后，他的两个独奏专辑也收到了一致好评——《Tender Mercies》（2008年）还有《Christmas Cello》（2010年）。
此外，他还是耶稣基督后期圣徒教会的成员。 家中成员：妻子朱莉以及三个孩子。
