PATTERN NOTES

sk2p: Sl 1, k2tog, pass slipped st over. 2 sts decreased.

S2KP: Slip next 2 sts together, knitwise, as if to work a k2tog. Knit next st, then pass both slipped sts together over st just knit. This forms a centered double decrease.

Upper Edge Pattern (Worked over a multiple of 10 sts):

Round 1: P all sts.

Round 2: [Yo, k3, sk2p, k3, yo, k1] to end.

Odd-Numbered Rounds 3-7: K all sts.

Round 4: [K1, yo, k2, sk2p, k2, yo, k2] to end.

Before beginning Round 6, remove marker, k1, replace marker. Beginning of round has been moved 1 st to the left.

Round 6: [(Yo, k1) twice, sk2p, (k1, yo) twice, sk2p] to end.

Round 8: P all sts.

Neck Pattern (Worked over a multiple of 10 sts):

Round 1: [Yo, k2tog, k2, ssk, yo, k4] to end.

Even-Numbered Rounds 2-12: K all sts.

Round 3: [K1, yo, ssk, k2, yo, k2tog, k1, k2tog, yo] to end.

Round 5: [K2, yo, ssk, k3, k2tog, yo, k1] to end.

Round 7: [K3, yo, ssk, k1, k2tog, yo, k2] to end.

Round 9: [K2tog, k2, yo, sk2p, yo, k3, yo] to end.

Round 11: [Yo, k4, yo, ssk, k2, ssk] to end.

Repeat Round 2-12 for Neck Pattern.

Collar Pattern (Begins with a multiple of 4 sts):

Round 1: [K2tog, yo, ssk, yo] to end.

Even-Numbered Rounds 2-18: K all sts.

Round 3: [K1, yo, k1, ssk, yo] to end. 5 sts in each repeat.

Round 5: [K1, yo, k2, ssk, yo] to end. 6 sts in each repeat.

Round 7: [K1, yo, k3, ssk, yo] to end. 7 sts in each repeat.

Round 9: [K1, yo, k4, ssk, yo] to end. 8 sts in each repeat.

Round 11: [K1, yo, k1, k2tog, k4, yo] to end.

End Round 12 one st before marker, transfer marker to the right of this st. Beginning of round has moved one st to the right.

Round 13: [Yo, k3, S2KP, k3] to end.

Round 15: [Yo, k1, yo, k2, S2KP, k2] to end.

Round 17: [Yo, k3, yo, k1, S2KP, k1] to end.

Round 19: [K1, yo, S2KP, yo] to end.
