全民超神女英雄走光:中国与盖茨合作核反应堆：美国网民竟然这样评论！

BEIJING (AP) — Microsoft Corp. co-founder Bill Gates says he is in discussions with China to jointly develop a new kind of nuclear reactor.

During a talk at China's Ministry of Science & Technology Wednesday, the billionaire said: "The idea is to be very low cost, very safe and generate very little waste."

Gates backs Washington-based TerraPower, which is developing a nuclear reactor that can run on depleted uranium.

He says TerraPower is having "very good discussions" with state-owned China National Nuclear Corporation.

Gates says perhaps as much as a billion dollars will be put into research and development over the next five years.

新闻很简短，仅仅是盖茨说他在与中国商议建立一种新的核反应堆。盖茨旗下的TerraPower泰拉能源公司在开发一种叫做行波堆的快增殖堆，跟中核集团在聊合作的是，号称要投入10亿美元，预计2020年前进入商用。

盖茨在其他访谈里曾经提到过这试验堆要建立在其他有快增殖堆的国家，美国本身现在没快堆，好像得到建设的许可也不是很容易。基本上也就俄国、中国、日本和印度了。盖茨应该是也拉了日本东芝进来。看起来这反应堆最后会建设在日本或者中国。

Why can't the "great American patriot," Bill Gates, do this here? Obama imposed regulations? Anti-nuclear energy kooks? Too expensive because of corrupt unions? All I know, it's wrong, wrong, wrong!

I'm willing to bet it's just that China is willing to put up that money. They NEED nuclear power - we have a lot of resources in the US that can serve as backups, even if they're expensive or messy, but China has no such option, so it's a lot more important.
我打赌不是你说的原因，应该只是中国愿意投资这个项目吧。他们需要核能——他们不像我们拥有很多后备能源可以作为选择，尽管这些后备能源或许很贵或者很麻烦，不过有的选总比没的选好，因此对中国来说，核能更重要。
