This category contains images of historical portrait sculptures created by artist/historian George Stuart and images of the artist. Each sculpture is a quarter life-size portrait in mixed media. Working in his studio in Ojai, California, the artist has produced over 400 sculptures of historically significant personalities as well as generic figures of individuals in representative occupations of a particular historical period. Many of the figures are now held in the permanent collection of the Ventura County (CA) Museum as well as private collections.
