几年分割引发的矛盾不断升级,最终1950年6月25日北朝军队南下一度差点将南韩和美国联军赶下大海。
联合国中21个国家支持南韩,武装支援以美英为主力,在著名的仁川登陆后,反击成功。
随后,刚成立的中华人民共和国在苏联的授意下派出志愿军参战,而苏联也秘密派出空军支援。
此战被看成小规模的第三次世界大战,持续三年后,对峙双方进进退退、伤亡无数。
