Janice Bronwyn Linden, 35, was executed bylethal injection.
35岁的珍妮丝·布朗温·林登被执行注射死刑。
She was caught carrying 3kg of crystal methamphetamine at a Chineseairport in November 2008, and had reportedly exhausted all possible appealprocesses.

Linden, from KwaZulu-Natal,was only told that she would be put to death on the morning of her execution.

According to Sapa, two of her sisters arein China,and were to be allowed an hour with her before she was put to death.

On Sunday, the DA called on President JacobZuma to make a last-minute attempt to save Linden's life.

"Drug mules should be punished forwhat they do. But this is clearly a case of a punishment not fitting thecrime," said DA MP Stevens Mokgalapa.

She had in her possession drugs that wouldhave caused havoc to many people and possibly caused deaths. She knew thepenalty beforehand should she have been caught and yet went ahead and did itanyway. No matter how desperate you are in life, don't acquire an income bydestroying other peoples lives.

Some people get them self’s into so much“nonsense” sometimes, you can only shake your head in resignation. May herdeath not be in vain. Hopefully they at least took the time to find out who isbehind this, and just maybe her death would save others by example.
