Honesty

       Honesty, which is a good virtue, means speaking the truth and being fair and upright in act. Those who lie and cheat are dishonest. Those who make fortunes, not by hard work, but by other means are also dishonest.

      Honesty is the best policy. No matter what you do, if you are honest, you will be trusted and respected, but if you lie and cheat, you will be looked down upon by people around.  Once you lie, even if you speak the truth, people will never believe you. There is a profound meaning behind the fable of the shepherd boy in ancient China. We should always remember this lesson, and never make the same mistake again.

     Since honesty is so important, we should cultivate it, we should speak the troth all the time. Never should we make such an excuse as "A little dishonest is only a trifle thing." We should immediately get rid of the seed of dishonesty once it is sowed in our minds.

诚    实

    诚实是一种美德。诚实意味着讲真话、公正、耿直。说谎行骗的人是不诚实的，不靠辛勤劳动而靠歪门邪道发财的人也是不诚实的。

    诚实是上策。不管做什么事，如果你诚实，人们便会相信你、尊重你。但是如果你撒谎、行骗，周围的人就瞧不起你。一旦撒了谎，即使是你讲了真话，人们电不再相信你。中国古代放羊娃的寓言很有教育意义。我们应该永远记住这个教训，千万不可再犯同样的错误。

    既然诚实如此重要，我们应培养这种美德。无论什么时候我们都应讲真话。千万不要找借口说“不太诚实仅是小事一桩”。一旦不诚实的种子在我们的头脑中生根，我们应立即将其连根拔掉。

Good Manners

People all over the world set great regard on good manners. To a certain degree, good manners indicate a person's good education and breeding, in schools, it is a pall of students' moral training to develop good manners. A person with good manners always wins praise. On the contrary, if a person behaves roughly and impolitely people will frown on him.

There are good manners in which we behave in public places. It is good manner to offer help to those who are the need of it. So we should behave politely and keep away from foul languages.

Besides, we should guard against such minor offences as making a loud noise, casting peels and shells, smoking mad spitting.

If everyone has developed good manners, people will form a more harmonious relationship. If everyone behaves considerately towards others and follows the social ethics, people will live in a better world. With the general mood of society improved, there will be a progress of civilization.

良好的行为

    全世界的人都刈良好的行为给予了极大的关注。从某种意义上讲，良好的行为表明了一个人的良好教育和教养。学校里培养良好的行为是学生的道德训练中一个组成部分。有着良好行为的人总会受到表扬的。相反地，如果一个人行为粗鲁尤礼，人们就会对他嗤之以鼻的。

    我们在公众场所也有些良好的行为。在人们需要帮助的时候帮助他们，这是一种好的行为。所以，我们应该有礼貌，不要讲粗话。而且，我们应该不犯这样的小过火，如大声讲话、乱扔果皮和壳子、吸烟和随地吐痰。

    如果人人都养成了良好的行为，人们就会形成一种更加和睦的关系。如果人人都体谅对方，遵守社会道德，人们就会生活在个更好的世界里。随着社会普遍的风气的形成，就会出现文明的进步。
