内容提要

戈春源教授所作《韩世忠传》，从浩瀚的史料中梳理剔耙，系统地记叙了韩世忠一生英勇奋战的光辉事迹与崇高的精神境界。既概叙时代背景、生平脉络，又着重描叙黄天荡之战等惊风雨、泣鬼神的激战场面；既突出了韩世忠个人出生人死的光辉业迹，又显示了韩世忠家属与韩家军英雄群像的映衬；既记述了韩世忠的军旅生涯，又肯定了韩世忠在团结御侮与屯田垦荒中的作用。《韩世忠传》开掘了韩世忠忠诚为国、纯洁刚烈的内在品质，对他作了历史主义的客观评价。忠于史实，评述恰当，详略结合，语言简练，应该说是这部传记的特点。《韩世忠传》在记叙同一人物的著作中，是迄今为止最为详赡、最为完整的史著之一。
