        习近平说，一要镜鉴历史。40年来中美关系发展有4条历史经验：双方共同利益是内生动力；中美三个联合公报是制度保障；相互了解和战略信任是重要前提；与时俱进的开创精神是前进推力。这些经验值得我们倍加珍惜和继续遵循。         二要登高望远。中美建设合作伙伴关系是当今世界大国关系的一次伟大尝试，事关两国人民福祉和世界前途命运。今年是美国大选年，相信美国各界有识之士都不希望因大选因素给中美关系发展留下令人遗憾的“后遗症”。         三要互尊互信。中方坚定不移走和平发展道路，我们发展对美关系的意愿是坦荡的、真诚的，也是一以贯之的。希望美方客观理性看待中国，采取有助于增进互信的实际行动对待中国，特别是慎重妥善处理涉及中方核心利益的问题。          四要互利共赢。去年中美双边贸易额达到4400多亿美元，这反映了两国经贸合作优势互补、互利共赢的本质特征。对于经贸合作中出现的问题，我们也要本着互利双赢的精神，用积极和建设性的方法处理分歧和摩擦。           会见美国前政要是习近平抵达后的第一场正式活动，参加会见的有美国前国务卿基辛格、奥尔布赖特，前财政部长保尔森，前总统国家安全事务助理斯考克罗夫特、布热津斯基、伯杰，前劳工部长赵小兰。          应美国副总统拜登邀请，习近平于当地时间13日下午抵达华盛顿，开始对美国进行正式访问。          参照： 2.22外交部发言人答记者问：增进信任、巩固共识、扩大合作、管控分歧
