人的长相像父亲还是像母亲，在其八字里是可以窥见一斑的。这个是一个小巧门，提供出来，与命理爱好者共享和探讨。
1、像父亲的标志。
八字里食伤、财星旺的人，大多长相像父亲。因为在八字六亲定义中，男命是以偏财星、女命是以正财星代表父亲的，食伤是生财的，所以逢八字里食伤多而旺者，多长相与父亲相似。八字里直接是财星旺者，自不必说。
往往，男命八字里偏财星旺、女命八字里正财星旺，又利日元近者，往往不但长相特别像父亲，而且在其人生发展、思想观念、行为举止等方面，相对于其他六亲，受父亲影响也更大些。
2、像母亲的标志。
八字里官杀星、印星旺的人，大多长相像母亲。因为在八字六亲定义中，男命是以正印、女命是以偏印代表母亲的，正官、偏官（杀）是生印星的，所以逢八字里官杀多而旺者，多长相与母亲相似。八字里直接是印星旺者，自不必说。
往往，男命八字里正印星旺、女命八字里偏印星旺，又利日元近者，往往不但长相特别像母亲，而且在其人生发展、思想观念、行为举止等方面，相对于其他六亲，受母亲影响也更大些。
3、既像父也像母、或都不像的标志。
八字里财星和印星的气势力量旗鼓相当者，往往命主长相既像父亲，也有母亲的影子。
八字里财星和印星的力量都薄弱者，命主长相大多不像父母，其生活和思想也不会太受父母的影响。
