Hello everyone!

My name is Lara. Actually, I am Larisa but people have been calling me Lara for the last 8 years. I’m 36, I live in Moscow. My husband, two kids and my dog are my family. Currently, my employment is freelance. I like trying new things in life and make my contribution into the family’s budget. Sometimes, it’s design projects, sometimes TV shows…

So, it’s Monday morning and it’s time to wake up.

It was my husband who woke up my children and brought them to school while our dog and me were sleeping soundly. I like sleeping in the morning and take every chance to do it.

When the dog woke up and touched me with its wet nose, I woke up too.

I went to the bathroom to put on my lenses. It’s been some 13 years since I had my eyes operated on and my eyesight was fine until recently. I prefer taking a shower in the evening so in the morning I just brush my teeth and wash my face.

It’s my dog and it’s waiting for me. It’s -18C outside so I put on my warm clothes.

The dog hates being photographed!

I like enjoying my mornings because I know that the action will start in the evening. I went to the kitchen to have breakfast and broke a plate. Whoops!

The dog followed me into the kitchen because it was hungry too. Of course, it has a name! She’s Rony but I like calling her “dog”.

She appeared in our family not long ago. People would say to me something like, “Come on, she’s big! You don’t need her in your family! You could take a puppy!” But I took her and now she is a member of my family and I love her and we spend a lot of time together.

It’s my breakfast, a cup of tea and some cottage cheese. As for Rony, I made her some cereal. She likes organic food and is allergic to pet food.

My younger kid’s coming home in two hours so I have to make lunch.

I decided to have a break and check my e-mail. The time that you see on the computer is wrong. It just adjusted its clock to the wintertime while the country did not.

Usually, she’s more neat…

And I have to do my hair.

The 12 legs in our family (the adults have 4, the children have 4 too and the dog has 4 more) make the apartment dirty really fast. So I decided to clean it up.

It’s 1.21 p.m. and I have to go get my son from school. It’s rather close to the apartment but I can’t cross the highway just like that (a couple of times a saw a helicopter taking people hit by drivers…)! So I have to take the pedestrian underpass which is a bit farther from my home. Hope, my son will soon get big enough to be noticed by all those reckless drivers.

Here he is. His name is Lesha.

Then my daughter called and said they canceled their last lesson so I had to go take her!

This is Liza.

By the way, it’s not all for today because they are having their swimming lessons, English and karate classes where I will have to bring them to. I’m lucky to have a car. Yet, today it is my son’s friend’s father who will bring him to the swimming pool. Tomorrow, it’s going to be my turn to bring them and take them back home from their swimming lessons.

While my kids are busy changing their clothes and so on, I have some time to practice photographing. They say you should practice a lot to learn how to take nice pictures.

Meanwhile, I have to work. Two years ago, my friend and me opened an art studio. Over 900 people from different cities of Russia follow us now and many of them attend our classes! I have a bunch of handmade craftworks at home but for some reason I did not take photos of them… I love making lamps! By the way, in the photo above (with a telephone) there is a lamp leg that I made by myself.  As for the studio, I have to post a few ads but it’s so cold and people are in a slack mood to go anywhere.  I understand them.

It’s time for my children to do their home assignment.

Then I called a friend because I had some questions concerning PhotoShop.

It’s 3 p.m. In his rucksack, Lesha has his kimono, swimwear and textbooks in English. Do not think that it’s me who made him take all these classes. It was his own choice! As for Liza, she loves swimming but hates English. And in this case she has no choice because English is important.

I realized that I forgot to have lunch so I had some cereal. I don’t eat a lot of meat. I just don’t want to. I had an allergy and had to go on a diet so I’ve changed my eating habits greatly and now I don’t eat much.

In half an hour Liza is having her English class.

I warmed up my car which is good because it’s freezing and the battery may run down. I love driving and I have a 12 years’ experience in driving. Also, I prefer a stick shift because I’m conservative.

Now it’s the dog who wants me to take her out.

And I’m cooking dinner.

I attend dancing classes and I love it. I started dancing when I was a kid and I really enjoy it. When I dance, I feel that I live. And when I stay at home all day long, I turn into a crazy bad-tempered housewife.

Today I take two pairs of shoes because I have two classes. The point is that I’m both a student and a teacher. I teach strip plastic and make good money on it.

My classes start at 7.10 p.m.

When it’s this cold, it is hard to relax… Nevertheless, I did my best!

I was tired but my students were waiting for me in the next room.

There were not many of them that day but I know that before summer it’s going to be really crowded!

By the time I came home, my kids had had their dinner and were sleeping.

It was late. I made a drink for myself and paired it with some cheese.

Going for another walk.

And I’m going to take a shower.

It went to bed earlier than usual. There were not many e-mails to answer.
