A woman who photographed her 'dangerous paedophile' boyfriend raping a 10-year-old schoolgirl has been jailed.

Nerissa Williams, 48, took the pictures of 49-year-old Neil Beecham assaulting the young girl, and he then posted the images online for other paedophiles to see, a court was told.

The victim - who is now aged 17 - was in the public gallery yesterday to watch as the pair were led to the cells.

Jailed: Nerissa Williams and boyfriend Neil Beecham admitted a string of offences relating to the attack on the young girl

Beecham, of Pontllanfraith, Gwent, was jailed for 12 years while Williams, of Trecynon, Aberdare, South Wales, was given a 10-year sentence.

The couple admitted 12 charges including rape, sexual assault, inciting a child to engage in sex and making and distributing indecent images of children.

The attacks were discovered when police swooped on Beecham’s home after a tip-off, the court was told.

Detectives found hundreds of homemade photos and videos that Beecham had taken of his victim.

Judge Neil Bidder said the pair had 'robbed the girl of her childhood innocence'.

He said: 'The girl was raped at the age of 10 by Beecham aided and abetted by Williams who photographed the attack.

Perverted: Detectives also found logs of chat that Beecham (pictured) had shared with other paedophiles over the internet

Jailed: The couple were sentenced at Cardiff Crown Court

'Beecham then distributed these photographs to like-minded perverted individuals.

'They would have been distributed on the internet and have potentially been viewed worldwide.'

Cardiff Crown Court heard Beecham had thousands of paedophile images saved on his computer and laptops.

Detectives also found logs of perverted chat that Beecham had shared with other paedophiles over the internet.

The judge told Beecham: 'You indicated to other paedophiles if you had young children of your own you would have abused them from a young age.

'You are a dangerous paedophile and pose a danger to young children, particularly young girls.'

The judge said the sentences were for the 'public’s protection' which means they can only be released after a parole board says it is safe.

They were both ordered to register as sex offenders for life.
