Madonna And Matthew Badger’s final goodbye to their three Daughters at their Funeral

The Christmas tragedy that occurred at Madonna and Matthew Badger home in Stamford, Connecticut turned the world up side down, three little girls  and their grandparents died in a fire, where only their mother  and her boyfriend could escaped. Today Matthew and Madonna said their final goodbye to Sarah, Grace and Lily Badger.

Last week Matthew Badger’s brother Campbell said he and Madonna’s brother were taking care of  his nieces funeral arrangements as his brother and wife were too distraught to take care of things, Matthew and Madonna who are in the middle of finalizing their divorced, had a good relationship since their split three years ago, both tearful parents hugged at their little angels funeral.

Madonna who also lost her parents Lomer and Pauline Johnson, looked just as devastated as Matthew, who also took comfort from his girlfriend Abby Ballin Madonna’s boyfriend Michael Borcina was also by her side. The girls’ mahogany caskets where adorned with pink and white lilies, their grandparent’s where matching cherrywood.

Wednesday’s wake at the Frank E. Campbell funeral home, where Stamford Fire Chief Antonio Conte and many still heart broken firefighters paid their respects, also at the funeral was designer Calvin Klein, Mrs. Badger’s former boss and about 1.000 people who joined them.

Madonna said a few emotional words about her beloved angels..

Why did this happen to my parents and my children and why now? Nothing will bring my babies back,

My girls are in my heart. They’re right here,” she said. “And that’s where they live now. ”In all the incomprehensible loss and chaos, all I can hang onto is that love is everything”

“Lilly was my angel and my life and she was my first born.”

Madonna then spoke of her daughter Sarah….

“She sprayed my face with magic mist and put a toy dog in my hand and said, ‘Don’t worry … this will make you sleep. She used to hold my head at night and tell me how much she loved me. This was my Sarah, my little whipper snapper, loved and lovable and full of love.”

“Grace was fearless, the first to pick up the creepiest, grossest bug she could find. She was a fisherman and an adventurer and her imagination was boundless. There was nothing Grace Badger could not make with a Band-Aid. When she loved you, she loved you completely.

“She asked me once if she was going to die before me and I said, ‘No Grace, that’s not going to happen.’ But that happened.”
