吕宁思：最新消息说，虽然一直对即将在1月14日举行的台湾大选宣称保持不偏不倚的中立。但是由于台湾政坛蓝绿僵持不下，大洋彼岸终于放出了讯号。显示美国希望马英九政府连任。

美国方面释放这样的信息自然有它自己的考量，在目前的东亚政治格局中美国无暇卷入两岸统独争端，所以他更希望两岸保持目前的现状，一个亲美并且与大陆相安无事的国民党政府比起难以把握的有本土倾向的绿营政府来说，总是要好的多。

即将在明天出刊的《纽约时报》发表专门的文章，讨论即将进行的台湾大选。论文指出尽管经济问题繁重，但真正决定选票的仍是两岸政策。《纽约时报》这篇发自台湾的报道说寻求连任的马英九面临的问题和所有的西方国家政治领袖一样，停滞不前的薪资不断扩大的贫富差距还有节节攀升的房屋价格。

与此同时马先生的对手承诺将扩大就业机会，建设80万户低成本住宅以及针对退休者农民的优惠与补助。然而当选民在14号进行投票所投票的时候，左右选票仍然将是该如何和大陆往来。

报道指出美国从来没有公开讨论这场选战，但部分官员私底下对民进党候选人蔡英文是有些疑虑的。当然逐渐加温的两岸关系也让民进党支持者担忧大陆会吞噬台湾，而国民党正在把台湾送给中国大陆。

这篇文章说很清楚影响选情的主要因素仍然在中国的问题上，特别是所谓的九二共识的议题，国民党认为这是和北京间的默契与共识，绕过明确的中国定义。蔡英文则认为这是虚构的共识，认为台湾选民应该决定台湾未来要如何和中国大陆往来。

权衡之下，一个在看得见的未来不会与大陆统一而又不会破坏两岸和平现状的政权是美国既放心又不用费心的。所以在马英九与蔡英文大选民调不相上下之际，美国终于放出风来。只是不知道美国人的暗示是否能够对台湾的民众施加影响，不过我想聪明过人的宋楚瑜先生应该可以品出美国人的意思。
