《英语语法句法窍门》之9讲：虚拟语气在条件句中的用法
口诀：
过去过完①，现思过②，
将来会明：过去、were to/should＋动原③。
主句三虚要判断④，
过去要用would have done⑤。
主句would＋动原，
现在将来都可行⑥。
按照上面去变动，
碰到虚拟不头痛。
注：
①“过去过完”即与过去事实相反，条件从句中的谓语动词用过去完成时。例：
If you had come earlier，you would have met him．
②“现思过”即与现在事实相反，条件从句中的谓语动词用一般过去式。例：
If we had time，we would go with you．
③“将来会明”指将来会明白。“过去、were to/should＋动原”表示与将来事实相反时，条件从句中的谓语动词可用动词过去式，或were to＋动词原形或should＋动词原形。例：
If you dropped the glass，it would break．
If it were to snow tomorrow，they would not go out．
If it should rain，the crops would be saved．
④“主句三虚要判断”即主句当中虚拟语气也有三种，要根据具体情况具体分析。
⑤“过去要用would have done”表示与过去事实相反，主句谓语动词用would（should could，might）＋have＋过去分词。例：
If he had seen you yesterday，he would have asked you about it．
⑥“主句would＋动原，现在将来都可行”，表示与现在、将来事实相反，主句都可用would（should，could，might）＋动原。例：
We would ask him if he were here now．
If it were Sunday tomorrow，I would go to see my friends there．
