中新网2010年9月9日电　 9日下午，毛泽东思想研究专家、军事科学院战争理论和战略研究部副部长毛新宇少将做客人民网时提到自己的研究结论，中国人民取得的抗日战争胜利完全是在《论持久战》的光辉思想指导下才能完成。　　

毛新宇说，经过多年的研究，他得出了一个结论，这不是出于作为亲属的个人感情，而是一种科学的结论。这个结论就是，中国人民取得的抗日战争胜利完全是在《论持久战》的光辉思想指导下才能完成。

毛新宇说：“我现在可以做这个结论，如果当年我们的中国人民没有在中国共产党的领导下凝聚起来，没有像《论持久战》这样的科学理论作为光辉的‘灯塔’，我们是不能取得抗日战争胜利的。”

毛新宇讲到，在兵力、军事、政治力量十分悬殊的情况下，毛泽东奇迹般地指挥中国人民志愿军打败了世界上头号强国——美帝国主义，这是不可想象的。1949年，毛泽东在天安门城楼上宣告“中国人民站起来了”，但是，全世界真正承认中国人民站立起来的，真正世界上的人对中华民族，甚至对中国的华侨刮目相看，那是在抗美援朝战争以后。
