    【美国《华盛顿邮报》网站12月8日文章】看上去他们不大可能成为伙伴：一位是酷酷的、镇定自若的美国总统，另一位是骄傲自大、有时候脾气急躁的土耳其总理。但是，在今年改变阿拉伯世界的局势中，他们结成了重要但却鲜有人讨论的工作关系。
奥巴马总统和土耳其总理埃尔多安一直在密切合作，控制着埃及、利比亚、叙利亚以及伊朗的局势发展。
据白宫透露，这两人今年通过13次电话。他们—开始并不是朋友，但是去年在多伦多经过一番坦诚交谈之后成了朋友。
对于想要影响阿拉伯骚乱但想留在幕后的美国政府来说，埃尔多安是完美的联络员。他在阿拉伯世界享有很高的信誉，尤其是在由于阿拉伯革命而力量倍增的穆斯林兄弟会和其他伊斯兰主义党派之中。
