五年级上册第一单元第三课时教学设计
一、 教材分析    本课时主要是能够询问并介绍学校里的教师情况e.g.Who’s your English teacher? Mr Carter. What’s he like? He’s tall and strong.并在本课时的教学中渗透句型：Who’s your … teacher? …
和句型What’s he/she like? He/She’s …，为B部分的教学做好准备。
二、 学生学情分析
要想完整的描述自己的老师体貌特征及性格特点，主要在于学习的有关人物外貌特征的形容词的词汇量的多少。我所任教的五年级学生学习英语兴趣浓厚，由于教师的配置问题，学生学习英语的底子薄。由于学生们的底子薄词汇有限，以及在使用过程中的问题，因此，本节课的教学设计要以此为突破口，设计教学活动。
三、 教学目标：
1、 知识目标：①通过本节课的学习，能够听、说、读Read and write 中的四会句型：Who’s your English teacher? Mr Carter. What’s he like? He’s tall and strong.②通过学习能够读懂、理解Read and write部分的内容，并根据提示完成后面的练习。
2、 能力目标：①能够简单的描述自己的老师:Mr Zhang is our new Chinese teacher.He’s tall and thin. ②能够询问并介绍有关自己任课老师的情况：Who’s your…teacher? …What’s he/she like? He/She’s …③能够听懂歌曲《My New Teachers》中有关的科目及表示人物外貌特征的单词及句子。
3、 情感、态度、价值观：①通过引导，使学生在学习中发挥更多的自主性，更好的激发他们学习英语的兴趣。②培养他们热爱教师，热爱学习的情感。③培养他们在学习中的合作精神，以及从中获得的快乐。
四、 教学重点、难点分析：
1、 本课时的教学重点是能够听、说、读四会句子：Who’s your English teacher? Mr Carter.What’s he like? He’s tall and strong.并在以后的活动中熟练的使用。
2、 本课时的教学难点是描述自己的任课教师的体貌特征及性格特点。
五、 教学准备：
1、 教师准备的PPT课件。
2、 教师准备的有关学校老师的照片。
3、 A部分的单词卡。
六、 教学步骤：
1、 Warm-up
① Greating:
Moring,boys and girls.How are you today?
学生根据自己的实际情况回答。教师给予鼓励。（设计意图：通过谈话，让学生进入英语课堂。）
② Guessing:Let the students guess What’s in the picture?(PPT)（设计意图：通过图片让学生回忆A部分学过的有关描述老师体貌特征的单词。）
2、 Count our school’s  teachers?
How many teachers are there in our school?
Eight. Our Chinese teacher Mr Zhang,our math teacher Mr Wu, our English teacher Mr Wu, our music teacher Mr Shao, our science teacher Mrs Li, our art teacher Mr Wang, Mr Wang and Mr Guo.
3、 Presentation:
教师出示Willow School 图片。（PPT）
T: Zhang Peng study in Willow School this term. He has three new teachers.Who are they?Let’s learn the read and write.让学生带着问题去看课件。
小组讨论问题（2分钟），然后请学生回答问题。A science teacher, an art teacher and an English teacher.看看谁回答的正确。
教师接着提问：Who’s Zhang Peng’s English teacher? What’s he like?让学生再看一遍课件，完成课后的“Finish the sentences”（同桌合作完成练习。3分钟）
4、 Practices:(I’m your teacher.)
① 学生自我推荐，当小老师，领读课文对话。（5分钟）
② 小组朗读比赛。（老师当评委，小组比赛朗读。注意学生朗读的语音、语调。3分钟）
5、 Write the sentences.
教师请学生在四线三格中书写四会句子，教师指导，让学生养成良好的书写习惯（5分钟）。
6、 Prictices(Pair work)
①  教师出示句子，让学生两人一组，利用本节课的学习内容，做会话练习。（PPT）
Who’s that man? He’s our math teacher. What’s he like? He’s tall and strong.
② Now I have many pictures.Do you know who are they?教师出示学校老师的照片，并询问：Who’s this man? 学生根据情况回答。练习本节课的四会句子。
7、 GAME TIME(Our teachers)
T: At our school,there are eight teachers.They very kind and friendly.Now we are teachers.
Sa:I' m  your  new  Chinese  teacher.
Sb:Who's  that  young  man/woman.
Sc:He/She's   our  new   Chinese  teacher.
Sb:He/She's   tall  and  thin.  He/She's kind.
Now Sb is the  English  teacher.

8、 Consolidation:
小组之间的同学谈论自己喜欢、尊敬的老师，并说给自己的父母听！
