这里选择文献的标准，一方面是看作者是否在这个领域持续发表论文，另一方面是看文章发表刊物或会议的档次。由于个人水平有限，可能还有遗漏，欢迎大家补充。

一点简单的评论：
从论文作者来看，huang作为EMD方法的提出者，论文数量和长度上都稳居第一。其次，Rilling从2003年开始研究EMD方法，是EMD方法坚 定的支持者。Kopsinis进入这个领域比较晚，但是他最近的一篇文章已经被IEEE Trans. Signal Processing录用了，值得注意。
从论文发表刊物来看，近年来，EMD方法逐渐出现在比较高档次的期刊和会议中，说明EMD方法已经开始得到国外学术界的承认。但是论文总数量还是比较少， 而且研究的人也不多，想要把EMD方法做成能够跟小波比肩的信号处理方法，还需要等待能够奠定EMD方法理论基础的经典文献（huang估计是指望不上 了，看看其他人会不会有所突破）。不过，必须清醒的认识到，在目前EMD理论研究逐渐升温的形势下，如果近5年内EMD方法还没有取得决定性突破，那么 EMD的前景就堪忧了！
